Use a hoe on gravel paths or spray with a glyphosate-based herbicide. Be careful of spray drift – spray only on a still day, and hold up pieces of cardboard to protect nearby plants. You can use a knife or weeding tool with a hook to remove weeds from paving. Or splash with vinegar or salt to kill off weeds organically. Experiment with this solution: 4 cups white vinegar. ¼ cup salt, 2 teaspoon dishwashing liquid. Mix together and use a spray bottle to apply.
