Planting Instruction
  • How To Sow: Choose a well drained site in full sun. Sow these seeds in trays for subsequent transplanting or after frosts, sow directly in a well prepared seedbed. Sow seeds thinly, 5 cm apart and to a depth of 2 mm. Seedling Care: Keep seedbed evenly moist during the germination period of 14-21 days. Apply fruit fertiliser two weeks after germination for healthier plants and maximum crop. Protect your seedlings from slugs, snails and insect pests; go to mcgregors.co.nz for appropriate plant health and pest control products. Hints and Tips: This variety is suited to NZ's shorter growing season. Once peppers are 10 - 12 cm long, they should easily pull apart from the plant. The hottest part of this Chilli is the seeds and the pith around the seeds. CAUTION: Seed is fungicide treated to minimise fungal attack during seed germination and/or as requirement by the Ministry of Primary Industries. Do not eat seed or feed to animals. Our seeds are not treated with Neonicotinoids.
  • These seeds are not pasteurised.
