  • How To Sow: Choose a well drained site in full sun. Sow these seeds in trays for subsequent transplanting or after frosts, sow directly in a well prepared seedbed. Sow seeds 5 cm apart in rows 30 cm apart. Cover seed very lightly. Gypsophila seed is very small. Seedling Care: Keep seedbed or trays evenly moist during the germination period of 7-14 days. Apply fruit fertiliser two weeks after germination for healthier plants and maximum bloom. Protect your seedlings from slugs, snails and insect pests; go to mcgregors.co.nz for appropriate plant health and pest control products. Hints and Tips: Transplant tray seedlings when large enough to handle. Gypsophila are surprisingly easy to grow. This is an annual variety i.e. needs to be sown each year. Our seeds are not treated with Neonicotinoids.
