  • How To Sow: Choose a sheltered, well drained site in full sun. Sow directly in a warm, well prepared seedbed. Sow seeds 15 cm apart, in rows 60 cm apart. Cover to a depth of 3 cm. Seedling Care: Keep seedbed or trays evenly moist during the germination period of 7-14 days. Apply vegetable fertiliser two weeks after germination for healthier plants and maximum crop. Protect your seedlings from slugs, snails and insect pests; go to mcgregors.co.nz for appropriate plant health and pest control products. Hints and Tips: Adequate trellis or fencing is required for this variety. Pick regularly when pods are young to obtain over 6 weeks of continual cropping. Sow regularly throughout the season for continuous supply. Our seeds are not treated with Neonicotinoids.
