Planting Instruction
  • How to Sow: Choose a well-drained site in full sun/part shade. Sow these seeds in trays for subsequent transplanting or, after frosts, sow directly in a well prepared seedbed. Sow seeds 5 cm apart and cover to a depth of 1 cm. Later, thin or transplant to 40 cm apart.
  • Seedling Care: Keep seedbed or trays evenly moist during the germination period of 14-21 days. Apply vegetable fertiliser two weeks after germination for healthier plants and maximum crop.   • Hints & Tips: When large enough, thin to 15 cm apart. Snip leaves for flavouring at any time.
